I’m currently working with one of Amsterdam’s most exciting scale-ups who are leading the EV Charging industry, having already sold 235000 charging stations in over 170 countries to date and are now moving into the US Market. They also sell their software to other businesses as they use open source protocols, meaning it can be used by any hardware provider which of course means the whole business is extremely scaleable.

What to expect:

You would be tasked with building and maintaining the E2E Management solution software that supports EV charging stations around the globe. The software can be used by the drivers of EV vehicles to find charging stations, pair, and manage their charge before eventually paying. On the b2b side the solution can also be used by the businesses that own the charging stations to allow them to see the realtime status of the station, measure their performance, and overall manage their efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Over 3 years of experience building scaleable solutions using Java
  • Experience in API design
  • Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS is a big plus!
  • Experience migrating Monolith to Microservices
  • Comfortable with Spring, NoSQL, Hibernate, Docker, and Microservices
