Backed by a major European titan with over 150 years experience in the industry, this scaleup is building disruptive products and has attracted engineers from the likes of Gmail, Skyscanner and Booking.

What to expect:

As part of the growing Data Engineering team, you will be working with Data Engineers, SREs and other Data Platform Engineers on building out an advanced AWS and open-source-based infrastructure. Current projects include moving database computation to a Serverless approach and setting up Sagemaker to expose analytics and allow users to build self-service pricing models.

Requirements:

  • Their current tech stack includes the likes of AWS (various), Terraform, Airflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Python, Java, Ansible (and more).
  • Good experience building large-scale data-intensive distributed systems and platforms, and understanding their relevant architectures.
  • Good experience with container orchestration and configuration management.
  • Desire to collaborate closely with teammates and stakeholders on challenges around scalability and reliability.
