An exciting AI start-up is looking for Senior Data Scientist to join their growing team here in Berlin. They’re an early stage startup with strong VC backing who are looking to take their anomaly detection product to market. Their anomaly detection platform helps maximise data insights for analysts, engineers and managers, giving them the ability to make fast and informed decisions. While the platform has many use cases it is initially focussed on Germany’s huge manufacturing industry.

What to expect:

You’ll be joining this startup at a crucial stage in their growth trajectory. One a day to day you will be working closely with their Head of Machine Learning within a small two person team, being entirely responsible for the end-to-end machine learning product. Mostly based on time-series and sensor data, the product you develop leverages complex deep learning techniques, statistical methods and modern cloud technologies. As this is a small team, we are looking for someone who is comfortable switching between algorithm development, model deployment and ML pipeline/infrastructure work.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Python ML libraries like tensorflow/keras, pandas, scikit, pytorch
  • You know how to write scalable and reliable production ready code
  • Experience with ML infrastructure, ideally Azure or AWS based
  • Proficiency implementing concepts like SVM, Decision Trees, LSTMS, GANSs and Neural Networks
  • Experience with anomaly detection, time-series analysis and sensor data is a big plus
