Orange Quarter is working with a company whose product is based on one-to-one human tutoring. The company uses a machine learning algorithm to increase matching efficiency between learners and tutors on a variety of parameters such as price, availability, country of birth, other languages spoken, learning objectives and more.

What to expect:

Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and stakeholders to gather requirements and align the roadmap with organisational needs. You will get the chance to lead the industry’s implementation and adoption of existing reusable components, patterns, and features throughout all development phases. On a daily basis you will develop and maintain the system’s support tools, such as build systems, code generators, and testing automation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in front-end engineering, either in product or platform teams;
  • Expertise in developing design systems and reusable components;
  • Front-end fundamentals: HTML, CSS, Javascript, Typescript, and browser APIs;
  • Proficiency with front-end frameworks such as React, Next.js, React Native or similar;
  • Exposure to design tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite;
