With teams currently distributed across Berlin, Warsaw, London and San Francisco, they have decided to build a hub where there is inundated tech talent – here in Germany. You will be working side-by-side with the CTO in managing 5 cross functional and e2e product teams. Each team has an engineering manager and 6 engineers (on average), so overall ±30 people. They are hiring massively these days so expect ±45 by the end of 2021 and 2x by the end of 2022. As a Director of Engineering, you will directly lead 6 people (5 Engineering Managers and a Principal Engineer). Again, this number will increase as they scale up their organisation.
