They are building a B2B marketplace facilitating purchases for SME’s, giving them the opportunity to buy products at mass. This startup has just closed a Series B funding round and have accumulated an estimated of 100M euros in only 1.5 years of professional activity. During this short span of time they have managed to generate 1.5 M Euros in monthly revenue, and are only growing from here.

What to expect:

As the Engineering Manager you can expect to work with the 2 scrum teams tasked with the delivery of innovative features and technology to help the customers using their platform. You will work directly with the Head of Engineering, managing a diverse team of global remote professionals, you will focus on delivering a great innovative product for our customers, leading architectural and technical decisions with its evolution. You will also work  closely with the team, helping others to work efficiently, constantly experimenting with new ideas, and optimising existing ones. As well as traditional elements of a Software Engineering Manager (working on the culture of the team, improving  processes, 1-to-1s, career development with a focus on quality). Your key stakeholders will be the Product and Data Science teams. Alongside that you will be collaborating with the Head of Engineering on other larger initiatives that will contribute towards creating a great Engineering department.

Requirements:

  • You are currently working in a People Management role (2+ years)
  • You come from a Software Development background
  • You are able to challenge the decisions made on the team from a technical standpoint
  • Additional European Language is a bonus
