We are looking for an Engineering Manager who is open to a role within the MedTech industry for a scale-up here in Berlin. Having recently received their Series B of $15M, they are pumping funds into Product & Tech. They have built an asynchronous communication platform that allows healthcare professionals to, well, better communicate with those in need of medical attention. How long do you spend during your lunch break on hold waiting to speak to someone for advice? Do you wish you could just speak with your doctor via messenger? They are streamlining processes as well as automating reminders for recalls and prescriptions.

What to expect:

You will be responsible for leading a cross-functional team of between 5-8 Engineers. Their tech stack is Ruby, React and AWS, but you won’t be required to code since the role is entirely operational and managerial. Currently planning to scale and take better control of their infrastructure, you will work with Senior Engineering Manager in redesigning, restructuring and restrategising the Engineering department that will help both your colleagues and the company thrive. You will also be helping develop Engineers by putting them on career paths, including conducting 1 on 1’s and code reviews.
