A leading e-commerce company in the Netherlands with active sites in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg is currently in the process of a large international expansion. They are scaling up their frontend, backend, and data team to handle the increased workload. Running with various e-commerce models, the quality of code is paramount to ensure efficiency and reliability.

What to expect:

In this role you would bring your high level experience with React, Typescript and Node to work on modernising their codebase. You would be assigned to one of their various websites where you will take the lead in ensuring that all code is clean and reusable. You will work on maintaining the responsiveness of your site as this is pivotal to the success of such an e-commerce model.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience modernising a codebase with React / Typescript on the frontend (5 years)
  • Previous experience modernising a codebase with Node on the backend (2 years)
  • Understanding and desire to write clean, reusable code
  • Ability to work across functional teams
