I’m working with a global reader in high-performance bikes that are setting up a semi-autonomous tech hub here in Amsterdam. They are opening this hub as they have just green-lit a massive project as they move into the urban mobility market.
This new tech hub is all about augmenting the end rider/user experience with tech and represents a significant investment into tech for the company moving forward. The flagship product is an App, which will be a “digital garage for your bike”; think IoT integrations, ordering replacement parts, booking servicing, speaking to mechanics, etc. The project is close-to-greenfield (only a PoC has been built previously), so expect to be an early joiner to the teams headed up by an ex-Apple, ex-Google VP and full of expert Developers.
You will be expected to help build out the initial flagship app and work with Java, Azure, Kubernetes, and Microservices. The role will focus on working on APIs and taking care of connections with the company’s internal systems as well other third parties.
As mentioned the POC has already been built but other than that the project is greenfield and you can expect to have a huge impact not only on the flagship product but on any project the Amsterdam Tech Hub undertakes in the future.
