OQ is now working with one of the Netherlands’ biggest transport-focussed companies, running multiple global businesses in the automotive, transport and cycling space (including some well-known and loved brands). Industry:

OQ-industries Autotech
OQ-industries Digital Platform

What to expect:

You’ll be working in a new team building multiple data platforms across different businesses within the group. As each has different business requirements (and differing levels of data maturity), you’ll be working closely with your Team Lead to understand and define these into relevant data solutions. The aim is to build advanced cloud-based platforms mostly on AWS (some are on Azure) and deliver value together with Data Analysts and Scientists. This is an opportunity to use multiple new technologies and grow your knowledge.

Perks:

  • Opportunity to experience multiple different organisations within one group, from successful Dutch scaleups to large European corporates.
  • Focus on learning and growth for their engineers, they understand you will not know everything already.
  • Competitive package including a company car.
  • Relaxed work atmosphere with good flexibility around working from home (although not 100% remote).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a year's experience in industry in the data field.
  • Python and SQL experience are must haves. Any further knowledge of cloud services, orchestration tools (dbt, Airflow) or visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus.
  • A hunger and ambition to learn are important, you'll be supported in your growth plans.
  • An educational background in Computer Science is a plus.
