Orange Quarter is working with a disruptive scale-up that is at the beginning of European expansion to create a sustainable EV fleet with 15,000 self-driving Teslas by 2025. Their mission to contribute to the end of fossil fuel is at the center of what they do. At the moment they have fleets in Belgium, Germany, Denmark and very soon also in France. To allow them to grow even further they are looking for an experienced Lead Developer. Under your technical supervision, you and the team of developers ensure that customers in all countries can order their electric car online as easily and quickly as possible.

What to expect:

The goal is to have the EV fleet by 2025, but the adventure doesn’t stop here. That is where you come in to tackle the challenges of scalability, integration with the landscape and suitable solutions for future features. As the Lead Developer, you will have an advisory role towards the CIO and CEO. You know what the platform needs, you know how to outline the pro’s and con’s and you can clearly indicate which course to take. Besides that, you will also be hands-on work on connecting and integrating with all back office systems in order to make processes run smoothly.

Requirements:

  • You have a signaling capacity and you know better than anyone else how to come up with solutions for bottlenecks that arise.
  • You feel comfortable sketching architecture plates and you know how applications should be structured when looking at scalability.
  • Despite your eye for the details, you see the bigger picture and you do not hesitate to share your advice about the technical steps that need to be taken.
  • You have experience with Typescript and PHP, and it would be nice to have experience with Angular and/or React
