What to expect:

The role is for a Python Tech Lead to work in the Growth Content division where you will work in a multidisciplinary team alongside Frontend Engineers, Backend Engineers and an Engineering Manager. Day to day you’ll be focusing on developing backend user-facing features using Python & Django, be responsible for ensuring the right level of code quality within the team and will use your expertise and knowledge to coach and mentor the other engineers. 

You’ll be working very closely with the Product Manager and collaborating with other Tech leads in technical discussions, architectural decisions and to make practises even better.

The business is happy to relocate candidates and will provide VISA sponsorship. Due to COVID and travel restrictions, the role could be remote temporarily until it is possible to properly move to Barcelona.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Tech Lead role with experience making technical decisions
  • Enjoys mentoring/coaching other engineers
  • 4 years + experience developing with Python & Django
  • Knowledge with any of the following: RabbitMQ, Celery, GraphQL, AWS, Kubernetes
