This client is one of Amsterdam’s fastest-growing scaleups and, following their recent Series C, the latest unicorn. They are a cloud communications platform that enables 20,000 organisations worldwide (including Facebook, Uber and HelloFresh) engage with their customers cross-platform. They are in the process of completely cornering this market, and are doubling in size this year from 400 to 800 employees. In addition, they have used the pandemic to become a 100% remote-first company.
You’ll be leading a large team of 10+ Engineers while collaborating with colleagues from Product, Engineering and Infrastructure to ensure the clear direction and priorities of your QA department. There has to be a strong balance between shipping features and building a reliable product that keeps the customer in mind. Your priorities will be to embed automation into the development process wherever you can, to support the company wide CI-CD efforts, propose new testing tooling and infrastructure, to build high performing testing teams, and to set goals and directions for your team mates.
