We are working with a MedTech company who have just been acquired by an industry giant in a bid to destabilise the monopoly held by corporate giants in the US market. How long have you spent on hold waiting to get through to a doctor so you can ask them a simple question you probably already knew the answer to? This is one of the problems they are solving by building an asynchronous communication platform so you can instant message your doctor. Additionally, they are introducing telemedicine solutions as well as features that allow you to book/amend/cancel appointments and renew prescriptions.
Despite working on both a B2B and B2C basis, their income and partnership comes through the organisations they bring on board. This means you will be seamlessly integrating APIs with one another in a bid to stabilise the core product. Given the acquisition, the demand and scale they are operating at is only increasing and whilst they are moving away from their Monolith to Microservices, they also need to adopt a modern DevOps mindset where the Engineers deploy, maintain and monitor their own code.
