Orange Quarter is working with an E-Commerce scale up in Amsterdam. Their product recharges your digital prepaid credit for yourself or someone else. Their customers use their platform to recharge their accounts in various services from App Store & iTunes or Google Play.

Fast, safe & simple is their motto.

They are at around 100 employees with over 20 different nationalities. They are looking to add 20 more engineers to their team and looking for their next Senior Cloud Engineer.

What to expect:

As their Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be bringing extensive knowledge of AWS, to help build, influence and lead their platform and infrastructure to scale and meet customer needs.

You will be working with the development teams to identify improvements to the platform. You will be mentoring and teaching the Developers to ship and deploy their own code so your team focuses less on maintenance and more on building thing. You’ll help build tools with them in mind, enabling developer productivity.

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years working with AWS cloud environment and services
  • 5 years working as a DevOps Engineer or similar technical role
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Infrastructure-as-code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
  • Great knowledge of a distributed VCS (such as Git), and building and designing reliable CI/CD pipelines that reduce time to production
  • Entrepreneurial mindset is a MUST
