Orange Quarter has exclusively partnered with a FinTech scale-up, focused on becoming a new-age bank for SMEs. They are building out the team here in Amsterdam and are looking for someone to take responsibility for, and setup their infrastructure.

The business is launching multiple products, including a Banking as a Service platform to deliver data-driven end-to-end financial services over the web. Led by a solid team of forward-thinking shareholders, this company plans to revolutionize the Fintech Industry – and you will be at the heart of it

What to expect:

You will use your expert AWS knowledge to implement the best AWS managed services for the company’s business needs. You’ll create a safe, low-maintenence platform that other engineers can easily use.

Observability will be a key part of the role and given the regulated space the company is in, they need to be able to provide insights and guarantee security.

You’’ll act as an AWS evangelist and will primarily build the platform from scratch. You’ll have plenty of scope to bring your own ideas and will have ownership for the infrastructure.

Some key services you can expect to work with include AWS guard duty, AWS config, as well as other observantly tooling.

Requirements:

  • Setting up and maintaining a wide spectrum of IaaS and PaaS services in AWS
  • Writing infrastructure as a code with Terraform
  • AWS Identity and access management (IAM)
  • Experience working with cloud computing like EC2, ECS, and Lambda
  • Above all, you love to write code (and strongly believe that release management is essential for a stable product)
  • Experience with the AWS cloud ecosystem, including but not limited to ECS, Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, ElasticSearch, StepFunctions, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, Route53, CloudFront
  • AWS DevOps Engineer/ Solutions Architect certifications are a big plus
