We are currently looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join one of Berlin’s best known brands. Specifically you’ll work within their Marketing and Advertising business, who work with a huge range of household names on campaigns across the world. The scale of the data and associated challenges are truly huge within this setting. You could be working on large scale advertising and data products, developing a next generation analytics platform for the business or work on their Machine Learning platform.

What to expect:

There are multiple teams of Data Engineers for you to work alongside, spanning a huge range of topics. You could find yourself building ETL processes, working on data warehousing, batch processing, data streaming, distributed databases and machine learning/ML Ops. You won’t only work with Data Engineers however and will be in a cross-functional team with Data Scientists, Analysts and Product Managers.

Requirements:

  • You'll need to come from a professional software engineering background
  • You've worked in large scale cloud based data infrastructure environments
  • Ideally you have an understanding of or desire to work with batch or stream processing tools (e.g. Spark, Hadoop, Flink, Storm, Apache Beam, Kafka)
