Orange Quarter are currently looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a Berlin-based SaaS business who have build a SaaS tool for building and managing their online presence. They’re established within their space at 7 years old, and have just closed a promising 35million Series A. This business were profitable before they received VC funding which speaks highly of the market fit of their product. They are now using their funding to and expand into new markets and countries, as well as build out their Engineering Team.

What to expect:

You’ll be working embedded into the product teams, and will report into one of the Tech Leads. You’ll be joining as one of two DevOps Engineers and will help to manage and improve the AWS infrastructure. They are currently building a tech hub in Berlin, with the goal to hire 30 engineers this year, to help them scale. They have two AWS applications and a large infrastructure, and you’ll be responsible for migrating the infrastructure to a multi-account setup. You can also expect to improve the infrastructure, do automation, improve the CI/CD setup and share DevOps best practices with the rest of the engineering team. You’ll also be doing some security monitoring and administration and cloud cost optimisation. Your stack will include AWS (ECS, ALB, RDS Postgres, CloudWatch, Organizations, EC2, VPC, CloudFront, OpsWorks), Terraform, Docker, Circle CI, Github ActionsAnsible, Python, Bash.

Requirements:

  • Strong AWS experience, ideally working with multiple acounts
  • Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Cloudformation)
  • Wrokdpress administration skills
  • CI/CD experience (ideally with Github Actions and Circle CI)
  • 3+ years experience as DevOps engineer
  • Ansible experience (playbooks, roles)
