We are working closely with an Amsterdam based scale up that has disrupted the world of logistics. Their platform makes shipping a container from point A to point B anywhere in world, as simple as buying a plane ticket. By simplifying one of the most complex digital logistics they have empowered business to go global, regardless of their size.

In just one year, shipping volume grew from 100 containers per week to over 6000, so the company is in full growth mode and they are looking for a skilled Frontend Developer to join their ranks. What to expect:

You’ll be building features and scalable architecture for web applications and services. You will join one of 3 product teams that work as a unit to produce end to end development for Account Management, end booking and the shipping lifecycle.

Day-to-day you will work closely with the Lead developer to conceptualise solutions, spot areas of opportunity and scale the product. Overall, you’ll have an opportunity to impact directly how the tech behind product looks and feels.

Requirements:

  • You have 6+ years of professional experience in Frontend Development.
  • You are knowledgeable about JavaScript + React: you can deliver scalable, efficient and sustainable code.
  • You have an understanding of the component-based approach in web-interfaces design.
  • You can rise to the topic of discussion and challenge it.
  • You know REST architecture, design patterns, and SOLID principles.
  • You have great communication skills.
