This company are a deep Tech Startup founded by an assembled team of IoT Engineers from within Porsche. Their aim is to digitise engineering intelligence by creating self-aware software. In simple terms, they have a B2B augmented reality solution to help assemble, disassemble and diagnose issues that happen within machines. There are three parts to the product: an assistance system that helps empower Engineers; automation which allows for the software to learn and repeat work of the Engineers so that they don’t have to; self-recognition where the software increasingly learns about itself and it’s assembly. Having licenses with Daimler and other global players, they are expecting their next round of investment midway through 2021 and have enough runway to last the next 1+ year. They’ve also finalised their strategic advisory board which includes the ex-CEO of BMW, the former strategy advisor to Bill Gates at Microsoft and the CEO of Founders Foundation, going to show the level of experience within their reach.
This role has the responsibility to further develop their interaction points with the user in regards to the repair and service checks. You’ll be working on projects that are developing apps for their automative partners whilst also working on scaling their frontend and supporting their core solutions. Interesting things about this are the fascination of the visualisation of complex products. It’s that childhood dream of being able to get a deeper understanding and interact with machinery, cars and anything else you were obsessed with and see how they are assembled and built. You will be working on creating some of their really cool UIs that enable engineers to seamlessly interact with products they have created. Their clients are the largest international automotive manufacturers: Porsche, VW, Daimler, Mercedes, as well as small-medium companies who would benefit from augmented reality repair services.
