What started as a small blog of Artists, inspired by the evolution of Hip Hop album covers and contemporary art. Has organically grown to over 2.5 Million followers, making them the Worlds largest and most engaging art community.

How does this fit in to the Tech space you ask?

Using a diverse and intuitive tech stack, they have launched an innovative Primary Marketplace that partners with over 60 exclusive artist and connects them with their global community. Which means artist launches are heavily oversubscribed, with many behaving more like fashion drops, selling out in under 30 seconds.

As the company continues to grow and build relationships with even more artist, our client is now looking at new product streams like a Secondary Marketplace to keep trading and growth in house, a communities platform that will drive engagement across both Marketplaces and tapping into the NFT sector.

Their vision is to leverage technology to inspire a new generation of collectors to buy, trade and engage with their favorite artists.

What to expect:

This is a role that will be challenging and rewarding in equal measure while providing high levels of autonomy during an incredibly exciting phase of growth, with no large legacy systems or dependencies to hold you back.

You’ll work in a cross-functional team with other highly skilled team members. You will help to define the technology stack of new product streams and will thoughtfully and incrementally focus on delivering new features and functionality, that will continue to enhance the overall customer experience, while improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of their core systems.

As a key member of this young team you will help drive the business towards an ambitious vision.

Their current Tech Stack includes :

  • Javascript, React, Typescript,
  • Golang, Node.js GraphQL, GRCP
  • Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Requirements:

  • You have experience in software development and write clean, lean, effective code in multiple languages.
  • You pick the right tool for the job and are not limited to a single paradigm or language.
  • Customer-focused: You have a passion for building intuitive and scalable products that enhance business capabilities and customer experience.
  • A team player: You guide and help your teammates with planning and delivering high-quality software and also take on communication across teams.
  • You take technical responsibility for key areas of development, where you will influence decisions around tooling, architecture and Agile processes.
