I am working with a brand new company who are very well-established in Germany. They are a business that have made it their mission to make commercial buildings and apartments more environmentally sustainable!

They currently have 38m connected devices in operation used across 13 million properties!

Now, my client is looking for someone to build-out an entirely Greenfield project and team where you have the chance to work on a system of significant scale.

If you are a Java specialist who has solid experience designing and developing CI/CD pipelines and is keen to work on something brand new, then this could be the role for you.

What to expect:

  • As a Java Developer you will be responsible for the design and implementation of their customer care solutions based on Spring Boot and React
  • You have experience with a major cloud provider e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP…
  • Within an agile squad, you coordinate closely with your colleagues and understand how to analyze the problems of our stakeholders together with the team and convert them into smart solutions
  • By integrating services from other departments, you enable a 360° view of all processes relevant to customer care, taking into account important principles in the development of distributed systems and interfaces.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of software design and several years of experience in the Java programming language are desirable
  • Experience in development within an agile team with short-cycle release feedback loops
  • Experience in CI/CD with GitLab or comparable solution e.g. Jenkins
  • Ability to work in a team, strong communication skills, independent and implementation-oriented way of working
  • Good knowledge of German and English
