I am currently searching for multiple Engineering Managers of all levels. This is working for one of the worlds most advanced tech businesses who build SaaS products for some of the largest companies globally, such as Tesla and Apple. The roles are within one of their fastest growing domains in Automated Mapping, which is a vital function for them as this integrates with the whole product offering. The roles are 100% people management and will head up between 1-4 teams (DOE), who are building large scale backend systems who are distributed throughout Europe.
You will spearhead the teams roadmap and OKR setting, ensuring you are defining, prioritising and implementing lots of new features in accordance with customers requirements, ensuring high quality software is being built. A key part of the role will also be bringing on board top talent to the businesses domain as well as retaining the already quality engineers, ensuring they are growing their careers to help you also grow yours. They are working with OOD and primarily build the backend with a Java stack, therefore coming from this background would be preferred, however not essential as it will be people management focused role more than development.
