This company offer an omnichannel-as-a-service solution  that empowers their clients to run retail shops on mobile devices. Their mission is to enable modern retail to improve customer experiences in-store and online.

With operations in more than 20 countries across the globe, their client base includes Decathlon, and their investors include Salesforce.

What to expect:

You will be joining a new team of 6 and will focus on building an automated promotions engine. Once that is completed, you’ll work on third-party integrations for companies that need to be integrated into the system.

You’ll provide technical expertise and leadership to the team, will mentor more junior members of the team, and support them with developing their skill set. Knowledge sharing, and spreading best practices among the engineering team will also count among your tasks. You’ll bring your expertise in building out APIs and managing the supporting cloud infrastructure, and will help to define the technical vision and roadmap, as well as ensuring the highest standards of technical excellence are met. You’ll drive priorities, will partner with other Staff Engineers in the organisation to help create a unified engineering culture in the company.

The stack is Go, Python, Typescript, JavaScript, AWS, K8s.

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes
  • Proven track record of mentoring others
  • Golang, Python or Typescript knowledge
  • You have worked in a SaaS environment
  • Experience with cloud-native and microservice-based architectures
  • Experience in designing, writing and building with REST API
  • Strong CI/CD experience
  • You are a strong communicator and can articulate complex technical concepts and to various stakeholders
  • You enjoy a high level of autonomy and strive for technical excellence
