I am partnered with a very successful SaaS business in Berlin who are looking to bring in a VP of Engineering to expand the team even further. The company are several years old and have recently raised over 30 million euros in investment in their Series A and going for Series B, which is going to fuel rapid growth of their Engineering and Product teams, however we’re already profitable before. The SaaS product they’ve developed enables SMEs and Entrepreneurs across Europe to set up a digital presence quickly and easily and sell a wide range of digital products, from services, coaching courses, education products, ticketing and more.

What to expect:

The VP of Engineering is going to responsible for taking this B2B SaaS business to the next level and scaling from a technical, strategical and personnel level across the globe. This position will be based out of Berlin where you will be working alongside the CTO, building out the team here in Berlin and across Europe also from 35 across engineering and product, to 50+ over the coming year. You will hold the budget for the engineering, infrastructure and cloud departments and setting the technical vision and roadmap. An affinity with AWS, RoR & React would be very valuable to the business, however is by no means necessary.

Requirements:

  • Experience overseeing a department of 30+
  • Proven track record of scaling a SaaS focused business previously
  • International experience is strongly preferred
  • Fluency in English is a must and German is a bonus
