Orange Quarter is working with a start-up who are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to help take their application to production. They are a venture capital company who are backed by one of (if not the most) world’s biggest players within the telecoms industry. Their goal is to act as an aggregator for all smart-living products that are controlled by mobile apps. Partnering with the likes of Samsung, they are integrating third party platforms so that customers have a one-stop-shop place to work their IOT devices, rather than skipping from app to app to app. They are currently working on geofencing of devices using pub/sub messaging as a form of asynchronous service-to-service communication for serverless and microservices architecture.
