Orange quarter has partnered with one of Berlin’s biggest scale-ups who connect consumers with restaurants and deliveries all over the world. Now, one of their core teams responsible for bringing food to your door, needs a site reliability engineer to own and drive the scalability, stability and performance of their dispatching service, one of the core, and mission critical parts of their tech stack and business.
You will be responsible for measuring and monitoring the performance and availability of the system. Day-to-day you will design new architecture, while continuously improving current architecture while identifying performance bottlenecks in services developed in Scala and distributed AKKA clusters. You’ll continuously work closely with engineers to ensure quality and efficient code is being delivered into production.
