Orange Quarter is working with a trading scale-up in Amsterdam with over 1.5 million users! They specialise in cryptocurrency, and most of their users are in The Netherlands, making this one of the most successful Dutch trading companies. With a headcount of almost 250, of which most of them in engineering, they have experienced steady growth over the past two years. They are now looking to expand the Platform Domain, focusing on the core functionalities of the business.

What to expect:

As a Senior Platform Engineer you will be joining a team of 3 Mediors and 3 Seniors, collaborating closely with the separate DevOps team and your team members on establishing technical direction for the team, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure solutions. You will be expected to mentor and guide less experienced team members, and join in on knowledge sharing sessions with your peers, as well as working hands-on on architecture and scaling problems.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Kubernetes including Architecture and Scaling.
  • Professional experience with serverless, with a preference for Kubernetes-based solutions.
  • A background in software development.
  • Background in FinTech would be a plus.
