We at Orange Orange Quarter are working with a company who are powering the future of online gambling with AI-driven experiences that set new standards in the industry. If you’ve ever enjoyed an online casino game, there’s a good chance their technology and innovation were at play. Known as a hidden gem of innovation in the iGaming sphere, they are now seeking an engineering Manager. This role demands a keen understanding of tech and strong management experience, ideally at reputable named companies.

You will have been a Software Engineer in the past and now moved into people management, but still like to keep close to tech.

You will lead a team of Software engineers responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the core infrastructure and services that enable our applications to run efficiently and reliably. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams to deliver scalable and resilient platform solutions.

  • Lead and mentor a team of platform engineers, providing guidance, coaching, and support to help them achieve their professional goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and architectural standards.
  • Design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective platform solutions that meet the needs of our applications and business objectives.
  • Implement automation tools and practices to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes.
  • Continuously improve platform reliability and efficiency using monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing teams of engineers in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Strong understanding of Javascript (Node, React and Typescript)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion and deliver results in a timely manner
