The company is creating an all-in-one platform for businesses like restaurants and cafes, helping them save costs and streamline operations.

The platform combines advanced POS tools (order tracking, payment integration, kitchen displays, and reservation systems) with powerful financial features like double-entry bookkeeping to ensure precise revenue tracking. This year, they’re introducing an AI-powered Financial Assistant to help businesses make data-driven decisions, such as optimizing staffing costs based on reservations and customer flow.

You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies like GCP, Airflow, Snowflake, BigQuery, and DBT, building scalable data pipelines and driving insights that power the AI-powered Financial Assistant. The role involves data modeling, transformation, and cleansing, enabling the business to provide actionable recommendations to customers—like optimizing staffing costs or enhancing reservation predictions.

Proficiency in data engineering tools and concepts is essential, including experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, data warehousing, version control (Git), and machine learning or AI concepts. If you have expertise in creating robust, scalable data solutions and want to contribute to a transformative platform, this is the role for you!

Requirements:

  • Over 5 years experience as a Data Engineer
  • Experience with Public Cloud preferably Google Cloud
  • Understanding of Data Warehousing and Data Modeling Concepts
  • Experience with Data Ingestion and Transformation
  • Familiarity of AI and ML Concepts
  • Experience with JVM languages a huge plus
