After raising a €50 million Series A from top global investors, Tacto has rapidly emerged as a leading AI-driven operating system for procurement and supply-chain excellence in mid-sized industrial companies. Based in Munich, Tacto’s platform combines advanced AI with deep industry expertise to streamline supplier management, automate complex workflows, and uncover strategic cost and risk insights.
Tacto came to us after closing a $50 million Series A led by Sequoia. They needed to hire at Senior and Staff level across Engineering and Product. With a predominantly junior engineering team in place, the challenge was to bring in truly senior engineers who could introduce strong engineering best practices while maintaining pace and execution quality.
Given the stakes, precision was critical. We relied on our network of senior engineers already operating at a high bar, either coming from FAANG backgrounds with startup experience, or from Tier 1 VC-backed scale-ups with strong product and engineering cultures. This approach ensured alignment on quality, speed, and expectations from day one.
We made four senior hires from Synthesia, Google, Candis, and Choco, delivering the experienced engineering leadership Tacto needed to level up their team and support their next phase of growth.
