What to expect:

The company is now converting user growth and data into new product features backed by machine learning, particularly around image, search and user journeys. You will be initiating and growing the Data Science team in Amsterdam. This relates to technical leadership, a proven hands-on ability and creating the roadmap for data strategy. Data Science backs up product teams and their products at all levels, from development to performance to user experience.

Requirements:

  • Their current tech stack includes: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Kafka, Postgres, Looker, Git, Jira and Linux
  • Noteable success in leading Data Science and Machine Learning teams in product development.
  • Proven experience in productionising Machine Learning models and delivering value from them.
  • Strong technical background in Data Science. A plus for image and data processing knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills (including fluency in English) matched with good business understanding.
