What to expect:

You will be leading the Infrastructure Team and will mentor and manage other team members. The responsibility of your team is to ensure the scalability and stability of the system along with designing and developing improvements to the platform. You will be upgrading specific components and creating entirely new workflows. 

Expect to work closely with the platform engineers to analyse and eliminate bottlenecks. You will continuously strive for improvements through automation and tools. In addition to this, you will have ownership of the systems that provide monitoring for the backend teams.

Requirements:

  • You have excellent knowledge of public cloud providers, particularly GCP and AWS
  • You have experience using multiple programming or scripting languages, including Python and Golang
  • Professional experience of Kubernetes on public cloud environments
  • A keenness for taking responsibility for all aspects of the platform
  • Strong sense of responsibility for seeing projects through to completion
