We are currently working with a rapidly growing start-up in the Med Tech space on a mission to make clear vision accessible to everyone in the world. They have built a world first web based medical device that is completely changing the glasses industry. They are scaling rapidly and partnering with household brands across Europe.

What to expect:

This is a proper startup building proper medical grade software. Think constant experimentation, unique problem solving and an exciting feature roadmap.You will be a driving force within the development team. You’ll be combining efforts from front-end, back-end and data science into a shippable product that leverages ML and facial recognition technologies. Being a generalist engineer is key to this role, you will be required to get stuck in across the entire product.

Day to day you will focus on implementing features, maintaining the code base, code reviews, architecture and integrations. Another large part of the role will be to lead, this a key role for the business and you will be stepping in as the most senior engineer underneath the CTO.

Requirements:

  • Experience with modern web technologies, the tech stack is VueJS, Python, Docker, AWS, Heroku and Laravel
  • Machine learning experience would be an advantage
  • Product and user experience focused
  • Previous experience with team lead / scrum master role is preferred
