This innovative scaleup in Amsterdam are building an app disrupting the energy industry in South America. They have implemented an Uber-esque model to democratise the industry and empower smaller players to compete with the pre-existing corporate monopoly. Their tech set-up of ~45 people sits in Amsterdam with cross-functional teams each working on part of the platform.

What to expect:

You will be working in a multidisciplinary team focussed on consumer experience and B2C products. Pair-programming, discussions about architecture and patterns, testing and talks about new possible improvements are common daily occurrences. Most problems here are solved through discussion and collaboration, in a flat way to find the best solution. This role will suit someone who is a good communicator who likes to think deeply about development, leading architecture discussions and sharing knowledge with the team.

Requirements:

  • Senior experience in iOS Development. Strong experience with Swift is required.
  • Good knowledge of architectural patterns like MVC, MVP, MVVM, and VIP are an advantage.
  • Experience with local data storage (CoreData / SQLLite / Realm) is a plus.
  • Experience with source control in GIT and branching strategies.
