We are working with a start-up company based in Amsterdam who, through a Global Data Platform empower companies to become more ecologically friendly.

They are originally from the US and are now bringing their strong vision through Europe determined to make an environmental impact using insightful analytics and combining blockchain technologies with big data and machine learning.

They are looking for a Senior level developer with experience in Java and Kotlin to help drive their product forward and bring energy and enthusiasm to the role.

What to expect:

You will be designing software, investigating new tech and providing requirements analysis. You will be collaborating with the Development team and the Product Owner to define business requirements and code, being hands-on with various languages and developing/maintaining API’s with an agile approach to ensure tasks are completed with high quality.

Requirements:

  • Amazing communication skills
  • A good understanding of modern application architecture
  • Experience with Kotlin/other JVM languages
  • Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring/DropWizard etc
  • Experience with Docker based Microservice architecture
  • Experience with RESTful API development and integration
