You will be working for the market leader in the world of mortgages in the Netherlands. Their platform has won awards nationally for the last few years and you’ll be in charge of architecture innovation and continuous improvement of the entire mortgage landscape.

You’ll be given complete ownership and trust over the architecture of this platform so that you can make the big decisions needed to make real change. They have a real fail fast and learn quicker mentality in which experimentation is really encouraged. Agile principles are rolled out throughout their development teams which are all cross-functional DevOps teams. You’ll be working with these teams on a daily basis to help them work autonomously, to implement great architecture you’ve designed and to improve on a continuous basis.

Requirements:

  • You are focussed on the customer, you can make big decisions and you are autonomous
  • Experience working with technologies like Java 8/11, Scala, Groovy, Kafka, NodeJS, Angular 7/8, Elastic Search, AWS/Azure/Pivotal Cloud, SQL/NoSQL, microservices, CI/CD, Soap/Rest

  • You can translate requirements into specific software solutions
