Orange Quarter are looking for a Head of Engineering to join one of Berlin’s best known AI scaleups, working in the green energy and PropTech spaces. They provide a digital platform to the world’s biggest companies to manage their building portfolios and make them more energy efficient.

What to expect:

You will lead their engineering department, working directly with their CTO. The product is an enterprise real time analytics platform that enables companies to manage their real estate portfolios, so it involves complex client integrations, working with very messy data sources and huge volumes of data.  You’ll be a thought leader in the business around app development and integrations, improve engineering standards, architectural practices and implement and design PoCs for improving the platform. They’re going through a big redesign of their architecture too, which you will be play a key part in.

Requirements:

  • You have a track record as an engineering leader in a fast-growing tech company
  • Experience managing managers and team leads of engineering teams
  • You are not a specialist but have an understanding of FE, BE, Infrastructure and Data Infra concepts
  • Experience with large scale applications and ideally B2B SaaS or Enterprise oriented products
