Here at Orange Quarter we are seeking a Head of Engineering (Platform) to join a EdTech scaleup in Berlin. They offer a digital platform to millions of people across the world to help learn over 100+ languages through a broad range of traditional and digital methods. They’re a leader within the space and massively established.

What to expect:

You will lead their DevOps Team working directly with the CTO. The product is an advanced enterprise real-time analytics platform designed to empower companies in effectively managing their real estate portfolios. You will be a thought leader in business, leading and managing at team of DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers to ensure best DevOps Practices. Soon to going through a migration from a legacy client services system to a new more efficient support tool. Your leadership will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth transition.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years leading and managing a Platform/Cloud or DevOps Team.
  • Deep experience with AWS cloud tooling and infrastructure
  • Ideally you come from a solid software engineering background, and have worked in a high-scale product oriented environment previously
