We’re working with a growth-phase startup focused on acquiring and optimising property management businesses. The company’s mission is to build shared data ecosystems within acquired firms, enabling better visibility into operations, clearer insights into performance, and improved profitability.
The business has raised an eight-figure seed round and is already approaching eight-figure ARR. Rather than building a standalone SaaS product, the strategy centres on modernising and connecting real-world businesses from within, using software and data as the leverage point.
This is a founding-level leadership role as the company’s first technical hire. As Lead Engineer, you’ll work closely with the CEO to take the product from 0→1, owning everything end to end—from cloud infrastructure through to application architecture and user experience.
You’ll be deeply involved in shaping both the product and the engineering organisation, including refining hiring processes and building the team over time. The role also includes regular interaction with customers, investors, and strategic partners, making strong communication skills and emotional intelligence as important as technical ability.
