We are working with a leading German educational technology business to help them hire a Senior Data Analyst and Engineer. They are well established and the market leader particularly in the maths learning space, and their products are used by millions of children across Europe on a daily basis. This is a business with an incalculable social impact, their maths learning platforms enable the next generation to improve their maths, science, technology and engineering skills and become the Data Analysts and Engineers of tomorrow.

What to expect:

You will join a small, central data team that is responsible for all data oriented activities of the business, such as data infrastructure, analytics, data science and reporting topics. You will be the primary Data Analyst in the team, working mostly on product analytics topics to enable the product teams to know how their products are performing and conducting experiments to understand how well children can learn from the learning platforms they use. Outside of this you’ll get the chance to work on data modelling, analytics engineering. They have huge flexibility where one day you can work on business-facing reporting, one day work with Python and the next with DBT. If you are a data generalist then this is the role for you.

Requirements:

  • 4+ Years in the Data space with at least 2 working as a Data Analyst
  • Experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering topics
  • You are not just an expert in SQL but are pretty handy with Python too
  • You are proactive and are not looking for clear role distinctions, but thrive in a flexible and trusting environment
