What to expect:

You’ll be joining as a (Senior) Infrastructure Engineer and will be part of a distributed Infrastructure Team of 4 Engineers. Their Engineering Department is distributed into 10 teams, and your role will be to ensure the company has a real DevOps culture, while you take responsibility for managing the infrastructure. Infrastructure as Code is a large part of the role, because they want to implement Terraform to enable the developers to work end to end, and need to onboard someone with plenty of expertise in this area. Ideally, you will have experience implementing IaC in a company. The infrastructure team handles the infrastructure, and makes it available to developers, with the goal down the line for the company to build a separate SRE team to take care of observability topics.

Requirements:

  • AWS experience
  • Terraform experience (this is a hard requirement)
  • Kubernetes experience
  • You have a good understanding of DevOps as a culture
  • You should enjoy teaching others and sharing knowledge of DevOps best practices (communication is a big part of this role)
