We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a well established and very profitable organisation in the printed gifts space. Think about how cute your dog would look if it was printed on a coffee mug! Early last year 2 giants merged to form a single group. On the web platform alone, in 2021 they sold €130 million’s worth of products. At any one time they could have more than 3,000 concurrent users globally.

What to expect:

Your job will include designing, implementing and maintaining network infrastructure that includes Firewalls and Switches. You will manage Virtual Server Environments using Vsphere, maintain scalable storage solutions and proactively monitor key services and address alerts promptly. The main goal here is to ensure business continuity across multiple platforms serving in different locations. The more prominent buzzwords here are scalability and availability.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of Network Infrastructure, including Firewalls, Switching and Wifi
  • Good knowledge of Windows Server and Linux OS implementation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Experience managing and maintaining highly available environments
  • Familiarity with Storage Area Networks and Fortinet products
