We are working with a disruptor in the trades/home services industry, building out a SaaS product to create frictionless workflows for customers. Six weeks after launch, they’ve scaled from 0 to $250k ARR and an early valuation of $35M. Now they’re looking to expand the team to meet demand for the product.

The goal is to develop a web and mobile presence for their product, and the mission has good runway with a $4.5 M seed round raised. The opportunity is exciting for ambitious engineers who excel in fast paced, early stage environments.

What to expect:

This position is for a hands-on developer who is willing to wear many hats, from product vision to scaling the codebase for their MVP. The position is 5 days a week in person, for a full-stack engineer with a backend lean. React proficiency is needed on the frontend, Ruby on Rails proficiency for the backend. This developer will need to be team-oriented, willing to talk to clients, and have the enthusiastic attitude needed for a fast-paced startup environment.

For this role, previous startup experience is highly recommended. You will be coming into a team of five and working closely with the founders, who have established a culture of celebrating early successes.

Requirements:

  • SaaS development experience, experience in the trades/construction space is a big plus!
  • 1-4 years of work experience
  • Prior experience working in start-up, fast paced environment
  • Proficiency Ruby on Rails, React is a nice to have
  • Scrappy, sharp, and independent disposition
