We at Orange Quarter are working with a company who are remaking the way the world interacts with documents through advanced PDF technology and tools. They are the second largest provider to the likes of Adobe.

My client currently has 700 million users across more than 200 countries and global operations. They have a complete product line as well as an exciting and aggressive development schedule. Their proven PDF technology is disrupting the status quo establishment and has accelerated the growth of the company.

What to expect:

  • Mastering an existing code base and becoming the go-to person for this product
  • Reviewing, planning and executing component updates
  • Moving automated test coverage to a good level
  • Adding documentation
  • Developing a CI/CD pipeline within the company’s toolset and patterns to move the cadence to once per sprint
  • Refactoring code for stability and performance – considering containerization

Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge in Java
  • SQL Database
  • REST APIs
  • Maven, Spring
  • Experience with a major cloud provider (e.g. Azure DevOps)
