What to expect:

You’ll be joining the Cloud Centre of Excellence, a team started 2,5 years ago to help this organisation transition to the public cloud. You’ll be joining a team of 3 and will engage with internal customers, and support them in solving problems and defining the best strategy.
In addition to this, you’ll promote new standards and will be hands-on, building the solutions you design. Communication is a key part of this role, and you’ll thrive if you enjoy dealing with multiple teams and stakeholders, architecting high-level solutions, while being hands-on. You will ensure public cloud best practices are spread throughout the organisations 200+ engineering teams, and you will contribute to the cloud strategy and roadmap.

Their stack is AWS/ Azure, Azure DevOps, AKS, and most of their code base is in JVM or C++.

Requirements:

  • You are familiar with cloud architectural concepts (ideally in hybrid setups)
  • You've got a problem solving mindset and enjoy communicating with different stakeholders
  • Deep experience of Linux/ Unix operating systems
  • Experience working as a software developer, ideally with Golang, Python, or JVM
  • Practical experience working with K8s, or AKS
  • Azure certifications would be a cherry on top!
