Orange Quarter is working with a start-up that is proud to be the Netherlands’ first-ever company to be partnered with Databricks. With the two founders having their data careers established in Amazon, Microsoft, and Nike, they are looking for the future ‘Data Revolutionaries’ to pivot between building out Databricks products and open-sourcing their work to use in smaller companies to help drive the data revolution.

What to expect:

Working with large companies in either Retail, Financial, or Transportation and Production, you will be key in building performant, highly scalable, and reliable solutions that are part of the latest trends in Data and AI with Databricks. If successful, you would be key in developing roadmaps and creating scalable ETL pipelines, developing the wider architecture, and building Data Platforms using Databricks.

Requirements:

  • Dutch speaking with strong leadership and organizational skills
  • 3-5 years of Data Engineering experience with a passion for building scalable solutions
  • Strengths in coding in Python and SQL for working on large data sets
  • Effective communicator who can be client facing with both executive and development tems
  • Exposure to Cloud Providers such as AWS, GCP, and Azure
