Medior Frontend Engineer

Medior Frontend Engineer

Leiden, Permanent

We’ve partnered up with THE leading AI company in the healthcare & life sciences industries. With ties to Cambridge University and the University of Leiden, their algorithms provide actionable & evidence-based insights in real time on user-friendly dashboards. This allows pharmaceutical companies to analyse and compare their treatment options, as well as forming suggestions & predictions to facilitate faster and more accurate decisions.

They’ve already generated over a million answers and predictions, and make sure that they keep deploying, monitoring and managing the analytics from their platform.

Industry:

OQ-industries Artificial Intelligence
OQ-industries Life Science

What to expect:

They’re now looking for a Medior Frontend Engineer to come in and help build and grow their product-market fit platform. After launching a treatment into a new market, this platform allows pharma companies to see if it interacts with other drugs/treatments, or if it affects one demographic group more than another.

They collect and aggregate data from multiple sources; not only directly from GPs and Doctors, but also any free text from conferences. You’ll be working with the Senior engineers to help visualise all this data using React & d3.js; you’re comfortable working autonomously, but also with collaborating with the rest of the FE chapter.

Perks:

  • Small team in a larger tech department with direct exposure to engineering leads & data experts
  • Creative autonomy to drive feature development in a flat hierarchy
  • Pension plan

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Frontend engineer, primarily in React
  • Experience working with data visualisation platforms (D3.js is a plus!)
  • Previous experience working with Node on the BE
  • A keen eye for clean and organised UI
