I am currently working with a climate tech start-up here in Berlin that is trying to sustainably improve European homes. From automated energy audits to financing & grants, they will be the one-stop solution to help homeowners decarbonize their homes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Climate Tech startup and become part of the success story that will sustainably improve European homes whilst building something that matters.

What to expect:

It will be the first time Head of Engineering for an already profitable startup in Berlin who have a team of 6 engineers in a cross-functional set up. You will be hands on in terms architectural decision making and some coding initially as you grow the team out. You will play a key role in the hiring of the team as well as driving the technical roadmap, setting OKR’s on multiple new Greenfield projects in the pipeline. They are currently working with Node.js, Express.js, React, Typescript and AWS.

Requirements:

  • Express.js, Node.js and TypeScript experience
  • Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus, but not required)
