We are partnered with one of Europe’s hottest VetTech companies at the moment. Their mission is to bring mobility to the veterinary world, and offer veterinary services on demand. Their platform facilitates pet owners to easily book home visits around the clock in an uncomplicated manner and enables vets to run a mobile business. Their app uses ML prediction models to identify symptoms and diseases, and their algorithms optimise scheduled and routes for their mobile vet team, as well as running their own e-Commerce business to be able to purchase medicine.
You will be joining the 20 strong engineering team already, which is looking to scale by 30 more engineers and product focused people this year all based in Berlin. They are looking for a strong leader to bring in some structure and focus on bringing an engineering excellence culture, you will have the opportunity to really shape this engineering department the way you would like. They have built an already impressive platform and product with modern technologies such as Machine Learning and Native Apps. The tech stack is a mix of: AWS, Javascript, React (Native), Vue, Python, PHP, MySQL, Postgres + more. You will hold full responsibility for hiring, building metrics, business goals and building a long term technical vision with the other business leaders. This is a real opportunity for a leader, now looking to head up a mission driven engineering department.
