Orange Quarter is currently working with a Climate Tech Nonprofit that uses data analytics for predictive modeling for climate change predictions. They have recently received funding in order to build out a flagship product around the topic of energy systems modeling. The platform will have a browser-based user interface, supported by an API and Python client library and the tech stack includes Python, GCP, CI/CD, Git.
The role will be a greenfield project which will be based on the grant for this energy systems modeling and include a managerial aspect with 3 direct reports coming from a variety of data backgrounds including Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, and Python Analyst. You will work closely with the CTO to build out the capabilities of this greenfield platform and work with stakeholders to incorporate needed features and maintain best data practices to scale it up.
